FELICITATION OF SHAH FAESAL - 'ZFI FELLOW' & ALL-INDIA I.A.S. 2010 TOPPER
MAY 25, 2010 (NEW DELHI): ZFI Fellow and All-India 2010 IAS Topper Dr. Shah Faesal was felicitated today by Zakat Foundation of India. The event was also the orientation for the newly inducted 2010 ZFI Fellows.
Dr. Faesal thanked ZFI for the mentorship provided through the ZFI Fellowship (link). He also met the newly selected 2010 ZFI Fellows and offered them guidance on their preparation for Civil Services examination.
Shah Faesal first came to the attention of Zakat Foundation of India on May 10, 2009 at a Civil Services Selection Exam conducted by ZFI at Kashmir University. ZFI recognized Mr. Faesal's academic potential and accepted him to the ‘ZFI Fellowship’ (link).
Shah Faesal was awarded the ZFI Fellowship - enabling him to come to New Delhi and be mentored by ZFI for the Civil Services examination.
Additionally, for his interview preparation, in March 2010, Mr. Faesal was prepped for over 2 days by a ZFI team comprising of former Ambassadors and IPS officers.
Dr. Shah Faesal went on to become the 2010 All-India I.A.S. Topper.
