MOCK INTERVIEWS HELD FOR QUALIFIED ZFI FELLOWS

March 14, 2010 (New Delhi, India): ZFI's Sir Syed Coaching & Guidance Centre (link) organized a mock interview for ZFI Fellows who have qualified for the Personality Test in Civil Service Examination.

These ZFI Fellows were:
● Mr. Shahid Alam (Jharkhand)
● Mr. Shah Faisal (Jammu & Kashmir)
● Mr. Mazid Khan (Uttar Pradesh)
● Mr. Mohd Izhar Alam (Bihar)
● Mr. Mohd Wasi (Uttar Pradesh)

Candidates underwent grueling session under a panel of interviewers. 

Dr. Zafar Mahmood (ZFI President; link) and Father Packiam Samuel (Interfaith Coalition for Peace Secretary; link) jointly put together panel comprising of the following distinguished civil-servants and academics:
● Mr. Ishrat Aziz, IFS (Former Ambassador to Saudi Arabia & U.A.E.)
● Mr. Parvez Hayat, IPS (Inspector General of Police)
● Mr. Junaid Rahman, Industrialist
● Mr. M. T. Zaman, Director, Eklavya Institute of IAS
● Dr. Nafis Siddiqi, Ex-principal Bhagat Singh College

The candidates were provided insight into their strengths.  They also discovered some grey areas in which they acknowledged to work upon. 

The UPSC Civil Service interviews begin next week.
