April 16, 2009 - New Delhi (India): ZFI hosted Ms. Rucha Chitnis the Director of Programs and Development for the US non-profit ‘One World Children’s Fund’ (OWCF) in January 2009. OWCF is a project partner of ZFI and helps with fundraising in the United States for the Happy Home orphange. More details on the ZFI-OWCF partnership are available by clicking here >. Ms. Chitnis was able to visit Happy Home children, interact with medical staff at the Adams Care Hospital and visit the widows supported by Zakat Foundation. She was also hosted by ZFI’s sister non-profits: Interfaith Coalition for Peace and God’s Grace Foundation. A letter from Ms. Chitnis regarding her visit is pasted below.
