July 7, 2008 (New Delhi): ZFI selects and sponsors the coaching of a limited number of 'ZFI Fellows,' i.e. academically meritorious and financially deserving candidates with an interest in appearing for the highly competitive Civil Services examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission of India (UPSC). ZFI Fellows are provided assistance to these Fellows for studying in India's top Civil Services Exam training institutes.

Candidates from across India were invited through newspaper advertisements to appear for the ZFI Fellowship selection examination and viva. The selection exam and viva was conducted on July 6, 2008. The following candidates have been inducted as ZFI Fellows:
